CFTI Chennai has conducted training at the ESDPs under the ATI scheme for the past three years. Over 275 candidates were trained by CFTI Chennai at our Extension Centre Vaniyambadi Multi Skill Development Centre.

The ATI scheme aims to build capacity in both physical infrastructure and human resources (HR) in national-level institutions under the Ministry of MSME to undertake skill development.

Training Courses

The training courses of the TNSDC-sponsored Skill Training Programme are based on both approved QPs (a set of National Occupational Standards) and Non-NSQF for the Leather Sector as follows:

In FY 2024-25, we have received an order for 150 candidates. The Skill Training Division at CFTI Chennai has commenced training for 50 candidates..
